Are you surprised the pandemic has lasted this long and with such devastating effect ?No - as in my opinion not enough followed the rules at a critical time.
Why do you think it has been so widespread here and globally ?
Due to travel and people not following the guidance properly.
How well do you think the crisis has been handled ?I think the government have handled the pandemic as best they can considering we have not experienced anything so deadly before.
What lessons do you think we can learn ?To follow the rules (as we have) I think until all have been vaccinated and we need to be very careful and avoid travelling abroad.
What has been your biggest challenge over the last year ?Not seeing my family and friends has been very hard but necessary.
What has been your worst and best moment (s) ?My worst moments have been feeling isolated- my best moment was being able to book my first jab.
What has helped you keep you going ?My partner, sister and speaking to family on the phone and HOPE !
Who are your heroes in all this ?My partner and Boris our prime minister (and his health aides)
